Omar Alawadhi is the Managing Partner of Mohammed Al Hashimi Partners and Advocates.
He is an experienced and qualified UAE advocate who was appointed in 2022 as the Managing Partner in Mohammed Al Hashimi Advocates and Legal Consultants.
He worked for four years as an investigator in the Dubai Public Prosecution who dealt with sensitive criminal cases and then joined the UAE Customs where he attended all the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) meetings which tackled customs legislation and penal sentences to customs officers and individuals who break this law.
In 2015, Mr. Alawadhi became a licensed lawyer where he worked at “Al Tamimi & Company” as a Senior Associate Lawyer specialized in financial Crime, money laundry, cybercrimes, and corruption cases, he worked in other departments as well as handling private client cases for Al Tamimi back then.
During his time there, he dealt with internal investigations and cases before the Public Prosecution, Police, and Customs in coordination with local and international law enforcement authorities, including INTERPOL.
Mr. Alawadhi also dealt with civil, personal, litigious, and criminal cases. He was an advisor to an international corporation regarding a criminal case relating to embezzlement of public funds and worked on a massive case on fraud. Mr. Alawadhi has acted on behalf of many clients from the private and public sectors and led an investigation on behalf of a major international entity with the Customs to claim goods.
